- Separation and Concentration of Stem Cells It is possible to separate and concentrate necessary cells such as stem cells from a mixture of multiple types of cells, including tissues. This can lead to a reduction in culture time, which is beneficial compared to traditional methods that involve repeated culturing for cell purification. - CTC and Rare Cell Separation CTCs (circulating tumor cells) can be concentrated and separated from blood without prior removal of red blood cells through hemolysis. This method can also be applied to other rare cells. - Removal of Dead Cells Dead cells, debris, and micro-particles that have contaminated the cell culture medium are removed. - Quality Control of Cells Changes in cell condition, such as an increase in the proportion of dead cells during culture, can be detected through analysis of separation characteristics. - Research and Industrialization of Animal Cells Since separation does not require markers such as antibodies, it is suitable for isolating cells with fewer specific markers compared to humans, such as those from cows and pigs. - Research and Industrialization of Microalgae It is possible to separate microalgae from natural samples such as seawater.
